About PENMAN ELECTRICS
Servicing Maitland and the Hunter since 1980
Penman Electrics has been providing electrical installation, repair and maintenance services for
residential, commercial and industrial clients for over 40 years.
Our History
Established by Greg Penman back in 1980, the business is now owned by Neil and Lynne Howard. Neil worked for Greg for a period of almost twenty years before acquiring the business in 2008. Today our family business has 4 Electricians, 2 Apprentices and 2 Administration Staff. We are passionate about employing local people who know the area and are proud of the Maitland community.
Penman Electrics Today
Our qualified electricians can perform kitchen lighting installations, switchboard repairs, hot water system maintenance and more. Whether you’re building a new kitchen or renovating an existing home, or upgrading a warehouse or showroom, we can handle all your electrical needs. We are equipped with tools and techniques to carry out a full range of electrical services. We turn up on time every time, clean up and remove all of our rubbish.
Our Team
For all of your electrical needs, trust the experts at Penman Electrics. Our Qualified professionals are well-equipped for your residential, commercial and industrial needs. All our electricians are licensed and fully insured.
Community
Here at Penman Electrics, our Maitland Community is very important to us! We like to do our bit to support our great little community.
Friends of Palliative Care is one Charity that is close to our hearts, and we are avid supporters, sponsoring the annual Walkathon and the Mango Drive.
We have also raised money for the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation, Cancer Council and supported Steve Waugh Foundation Captain’s Ride and Camp Quality 1000 Ks for Kids, just to name a few. We were able to assist with a wish through the Starlight Foundation for a young boy in our area and provided the electrical for a new Spa, assisted by Haymans Electrical Maitland.
We also like to support our local sporting teams that our sons and team members are involved with.
Our business is a Member of the Maitland Business Chamber to keep up to date with all the happenings in the Maitland and surrounding areas. We have met so many like-minded local small business owners.
It is also very important to us to support local businesses when purchasing materials and having works carried out, rather than purchasing online.
Since we were saddened by the loss of our great Tradesman Kyle, we have been on a mission to raise awareness for mental health and get the conversation started by wearing our Trademutt Shirts which support a service called TIACS for Counselling support for Tradesman. We believe it is so important to get everyone talking and reduce the numbers of lives lost to suicide.
In memory of Kyle
